Maija Lielause McDougal. «Bromoil»

The exhibition includes approximately 70 works by Latvian-born UK-based photographer Maija Lielause McDougal (1926) – portraits, still life photographs and city landscapes. All of the photographs have been created by using a technique called bromoil, where the bromine–silver photo paper is used. After developing and fixing it, the photo paper is processed with oil-based color.
