Sally Mann
Sally Mann’s (1951) solo exhibition displays the startling images of her own children from the series Immediate Family, landscape images from the American South and the extremely close and ongoing series of pictures Proud Flesh of her seriously ill husband Larry. Also we can find documentary photography from the Body Farm – a place in Tennessee where human bodies are scattered on the ground to rot. The bodies have been donated in order to study how human bodies decompose in different soils. The images are part of the series What Remains.
