FK Artist – Kasia Bielska

Kasia Bielska (1986) is a Polish photographer who lives and works in Warsaw. She has studied photography at the National Film School in Lodz. She works as a fashion photographer. Her photographs are on view at the Riga Photomonth main exhibition New Chic, which runs until 3 June at Riga Congress Centre. Bielska’s works may be compared to a staged performance, where identity, the commercial language of fashion photography, and the mechanisms of desire in visual culture are synthesized in her personal code.
