FK Artist – Rafal Milach

Rafał Milach (1978) is a Polish photographer living in Warsaw. For over ten years, he has been working on transition issues in Russian-speaking countries and the CEE region. He has earned worldwide recognition for his books – The Winners (2014) and 7 Rooms (2011). He has won several prizes, including the World Press Photo (2008), Pictures of the Year International (2009/ 2012). In 2017 he was nominated for the prestigious Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize 2018, but this February the ISSP Gallery was launched in Riga with his solo exhibition The First March of Gentlemen. He is also co-founder of the Sputnik Photos collective.
