FK Artist – Visvaldas Morkevičius

Visvaldas Morkevičius (1990) is a Lithuanian photographer, who mostly shoots youth subcultures, extravagant personalities and urban environments, but also does commisions for fashion and advertising brands. Morkevičius’s works have been shown in both personal and group exhibitions in various European countries, as well as been included in museum and private collections, for example, the MO Museum of Modern Art, the Lewben Art Foundation and the SEB Bank Art Collection. In 2015, his book Public Secrets was published, but in 2017, the series of zines Portraitzine was launched, documenting unusual creative personalities. This year Visvaldas won the Riga Photography Biennale – NEXT award Seeking The Lastest in Photography and his solo show Forward To Meet Me was on view at the ISSP Gallery in Riga.
