Coming of age

I started the project when I was 15 years old, without it initially being a project. I Started taking pictures of my first boyfriend, my friends and family.

That was the beginning of my journey, and now 9 years later I still photograph the same people and new relations that have come into my life. It is a personal intimate project, where I explore my relationships with people that are close to me. It is a visual diary, portraying raw uncensored and sincere moments. I explore relationships and intimacy between people. I like to portray unfiltered emotions and sensitive people, and portray topics that you may not often articulate, when it comes to both body and mind, which hopefully is something related to the viewer.

Christine Lorenzen (1997) is a Danish photographer who has exhibited in Copenhagen, Berlin and Athens.
