The Night

Everyone knows that a night is a time period between the sunset and the sunrise. Life with no boundaries hidden in the darkness is intriguing – it is attractive and terrifying at the same time. I am slightly scared of the night, and at the same time I feel drawn to those that are not scared. If anyone asked, what my story is about, I would say that I couldn’t explain much in words. Indeed, it is better not to say anything at all, if there are not enough words to describe something. What I can definitely tell, though, is that the meaning of the story is in the very process and not beyond it. Because there was no destination, there was only the road.

Ieva Raudsepa (1992) is a young Latvian photographer who has studied photography at Andrejs Grants’ studio and the ISSP School. Currently she studies philosophy at the University of Helsinki in Finland.
