I am not here

I am not here is a series of photos taken while spending time with four strangers I met in the town of Cēsis. I created an Instagram account for each of them and posted moments from their daily lives as if they were doing it themselves. As I followed them around and took these photos, I tried to imagine what stories and everyday observations they would share if they chose to show their lives on social media.

Santa Spilberga (1978) has studied photography at the Joshibi University of Art and Design in Japan, attended Andrejs Grants’ workshop, and taken part in the ISSP summer school. She was a finalist of this year’s FK Prize.
