ISSP 2018. Selected by FK

This year was the 12th International Summer School of Photography (ISSP) in Kuldīga, Latvia. From July 28 to August 5, 61 photographers and 12 curators from all around the world worked on individual photography, multimedia, photobook and exhibition projects under the guidance of internationally renowned tutors. Six masterclasses were led by contemporary visual artist Jason Fulford (US), documentary photographer Lisa Barnard (UK), photographers and multimedia artists Salvatore Vitale (CH/IT) & Sarker Protick (BD), photobook experts Yumi Goto (JP) & Jan Roseel (BE), and curator Natasha Christia (ES). This year the ISSP Residency took place for the first time, allowing artists to work on their long-term projects within the frame of ISSP.
