FK Artist – Līga Spunde

Līga Spunde (1990) is a Latvian artist who often creates her work as multimedia installations in which personal stories are closely entwined with a consciously constructed fiction. She regularly uses photography in her work. She received her Master’s degree in Visual Communications from the Art Academy of Latvia and her diploma work was highlighted by the 2016 Startpoint Prize jury as one of the top three European art school degree projects. Recently she had a solo show Cybervikings of Mars at the 427 gallery in Riga.
