Reiwa Era Poetry 

The book is the result of my desire to maintain a diary of sorts, capturing behind-the-scenes moments from shoots, personal encounters, and parties. Those years were marked by a profound and desperate attempt to fill a void left by psychological processes—a void like the outer shape of a fossil where the living creature once was. The material accumulated over time, weighing me down like a rock, and I wanted to “get rid of it” in a sense. The work was predominantly shot in Tel Aviv between 2016 and 2019.

Michael Ivnitsky (1982) was born in the USSR, grew up in Israel, and now lives in Lisbon, Portugal. He is an autodidact with no formal education in photography and has self-published several photobooks.
