Do you know who I am is an ongoing project that focuses on homogenization in the Western world in terms of Instagram / social media and its immediacy in using a smartphone and creating constantly and instantly pictures. Jessica Wolfelsperger examines the potential of using social media that gives ultimate freedom and possibility for simply everyone to produce content and take part in the flow of images. Working with photography, video, generated text forms from the internet and with performance.

Jessica Wolfelsperger (1979 in Basel) is a multidisciplinary artist. She studied photography at BTK University of Art & Design in Berlin and completed a certificate as a curator at the University of the Arts (UDK) in Berlin.
