The Same Love

The Same Love is an attempt to establish an intimate dialogue between the artist and the protagonists, showing the innermost feelings of the protagonists, who leave their doors ajar to open up for love stories. The document shows homosexual couples, which have been forming families or marriage for over a dozen of years. The protagonists of the project are men, whose sense of life is expressed in the form of another man. The aim of the project is to show true love that does not always fit the social frames.

Jakub Stanek (1988) is a photographer based in Warsaw. He studied photography at the Warsaw Academy of Photography and Philosophy at the University of Warsaw. He focuses mostly on documentary and sociological projects, but also fashion and commercial.
