Miniature deaths
The photo series Miniature deaths consists of absolutely random observations and moments that are temporary and fleeting. If you pass and return later, they will no longer be visible. The story is about the fragility and loneliness that stand next to these little things in the big world when they come to an end and death.
Oskars Artūrs Upenieks (1993) has studied audiovisual media at RISEBA in Riga, now works as a photographer and camera man. These series were shortlisted for this year’s FK Prize for young Latvian photographers.
