Aija Pole is a Latvian photographer born in Saldus who lives and works in Berlin. In 2023, her first book, From Gas To Solid, was published, which this year won the award as the most beautiful art book in Latvia at the Zelta ābele competition. This photo story was created as part of the FK Photo Story program. FK Magazine started this program in 2024 in order to stimulate the emergence of new works by Latvian photographers.
